Before the official procedure begins, Dr. Mayra Modesto-Garrido or Dr. Aryam Modesto will capture images of your teeth with a digital x-ray to examine the shape of the root and pinpoint the infection. Afterward, we can then drill in a hole to remove any debris and bacteria. Once we have completed this, we move on to cleaning everything out to make sure your tooth is completely free of infection. A dental crown is then placed to seal the tooth and protect against further infection.
